Jane

This sculpture was crafted from naturally weathered woods and extends from the wall on a 30 degree angle. A piece of wood diagonally disrupts the tendency to see this piece as traditional, and the leopard skin fabric echoes that same judgment. It functions as a display unit and features an interior light, stained glass window, and drawer. The 8 inch deep side has a side glass panel and a hidden compartment. Brown and black stains and glazes were mixed until the perfect color was achieved.
